Caption

Brief outline of PfR's intervention in Kenya containing key data about Garbatulla, in Isiolo district where the beneficiaries are located. The programme will target pastoralist and agro-pastoralists, living on the downstream part of the Ewaso Nyiro North River basin (ENRB) in Northern Kenya, and depending on livestock and rain-fed and irrigated subsistence farming. The main hazards which communities experience are drought, flood, conflict, and bush fire. Natural hazards have been increasing in frequency and severity in Kenya partly due to global climate change.
