Brief outline of PfR's intervention in Kenya containing key data about the area of the beneficiaries in Merti, Isiolo District. The programme will target pastoralist and agro-pastoralists, living on the downstream part of the Ewaso Nyiro North River basin (ENRB) in Northern Kenya, living from livestock and rain-fed and irrigated subsistence farming. The communities experience drought, flood, conflict and bush fire. Natural hazards have been increasing in frequency and severity in Kenya partly due to global climate change.
